THE SORBETINI RECIPE

Lemon has a natural affection for gin but you could try orange or tangerine sorbet now and then, for the sake of change. Other flavors don't work as well with gin and vermouth.



1 oz dry white vermouth
2/3 cup lemon sorbet
1 oz soda
2 oz gin

Add vermouth, sorbet and soda to a blender and blend briefly until smooth. Spoon into Martini glasses and carefully pour on the gin. Stir a little and serve garnished with a slice of lemon.

Makes 2 cocktails
